Connecting to the Divine through Nature – A Healing Journey

Saturday | May 31 | 10AM-1PM | Connecting to the Divine through Nature – A Healing Journey
Facilitated by Rev. Lea Alvarado

COST: $20
plus $8 parking fee to be paid at the park – carpooling is recommended

LOCATION: Gateway Natural Area
5216 Poudre Canyon Highway, Bellvue, CO
An incredibly beautiful park, located 30 minutes north of Fort Collins

DESCRIPTION: The Divine is present in every flowing river, ancient stone, towering tree, and delicate blade of grass. When we slow down and truly listen, we begin to feel that presence and remember our place within the great web of life.

Being in nature gently invites us to drop out of the chatter of the mind and into the wisdom of the heart. In this
heart space, we become more attuned to the sacred, more open to healing, and more aligned with our true essence.

In this class, you will experience the sacred language of nature as Spirit reveals messages of guidance, comfort,
and clarity. Through a series of intentional activities, you will be gently led to deepen your awareness of the Divine expressed through the elements of the natural world.

Here are some of the experiences we will share together:

- - Connect with the Heart of Mother Earth: Feel her steady, grounding presence through guided meditation and sensory awareness. Allow yourself to be supported and held by the Earth.
- - Receive Healing and Wisdom from the Trees: Spend quiet time in the presence of trees, learning how to release your worries and let them be transformed. Feel the love trees offer as they return balance and calm to your heart.
- - Connect with Stones: Tune into the subtle energy of stones. Choose one to carry as a talisman of healing and insight and offer one in return to the Earth as an act of gratitude.
- - Participate in a Water Healing Ritual: Engage in a sacred ritual of blessing with water. As you are blessed by water, you will also bless it in return, honoring the reciprocal relationship we share with all of life.

What to bring:
- A journal and a pen
- A blanket and/or camping chair to sit on
-Sunscreen, a hat, and layers
-Water and a snack
-Begin to reflect on an area of your life where you would like to receive guidance, insight, or healing
-Bring lunch if you would like to hang out after class

DEADLINE: Saturday, May 24, 2025
